Who You Are As a Senior Practitioner in Adult Services, you possess post-qualifying experience with adults facing long-term conditions and complex needs. You have expert knowledge of relevant legislation, particularly the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and Adult Safeguarding policies. You demonstrate the ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams, contributing to comprehensive assessments of individuals' needs. You're skilled in legal literacy, performance management, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with supervising and appraising staff and a commitment to anti-discriminatory practices are essential. Your qualifications include a UK state-registered degree in Social Work and current registration with HCPC, alongside a commitment to Hackney Council's equality and inclusivity values.
