Primary SEN Teaching Assistant

Primary SEN Teaching Assistant - Supply Stafflex is recruiting compassionate and dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistants to support in primary schools in Huddersfield. In this role, you will provide vital assistance to students with SEN, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential. You will work closely with teachers and other school staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and group support to students with SEN Work closely with the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) and assist in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) Adapt classroom activities to meet the needs of SEN students Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe learning environment Foster a supportive and nurturing environment to promote student's social, emotional, and academic development.
