Day-to-day of the role: Provide tailored one-on-one and small group support to students with SEND. Assist in the implementation and monitoring of Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Collaborate with classroom teachers to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Encourage a positive atmosphere, promoting self-confidence and independence among students. Track and document student progress, sharing insights with teachers and parents. Offer assistance with personal care and mobility needs as required, ensuring student well-being. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience working with children with SEND is highly desirable. A relevant qualification in education or childcare is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A patient, empathetic approach, and a strong commitment to supporting children with additional needs.
