Day to day of the role: Plan and deliver engaging lessons that are aligned with the national curriculum, ensuring a high level of student engagement and learning. Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of students. Assess student progress regularly, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and guardians to promote student success and well-being. Organize and participate in extracurricular activities, school events, and parent-teacher meetings to enhance the educational experience. Required Skills & Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification. Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting. Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with students of varying abilities. A passion for education and a commitment to creating a positive learning experience. Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance. Positive references from previous teaching positions.
