Derivatives & Securitization Developer

Role- Thunderhead/SmartDX Developer – Derivatives & Securitization Location- London, UK Contract- 6 months extendable Daily rate: £negotiable, as per Market Rate Onsite 3 days every week Job Responsibilities: Design, build and maintenance of high quality Thunderhead/SmartDX templates across OTC, Rates, Derivatives and Structure Securitization products. Work on Thunderhead/SmartDX release management and Regression testing Work on SmartDX API to create new job. Work on JavaScript to build scripts Handle UAT testing on linked applications impacting Thunderhead/SmartDX Templates Handle stakeholders interaction for business requirements at all stages of the development lifecycle Debug, conducting gap analysis and requirements gathering Work on MIS Reporting and perform analysis on template breaks Drive project initiatives to increase efficiency. Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities Prioritizing work loads in a multi-client environment where demand exceeds supply. Control mindset to identify process control gaps, prioritize & mitigate operational risk Proactive in problem solving and developing solutions. Technical Experience in Java, XML/XSLT, SQL, Java Scripting, Unix/Linux . Understanding and practical experience of front to back business processes in OTC & Securitized derivative products. Experience in Thunderhead/SMART DX Developer role Preferred qualifications Equities and Derivative experience in a global financial instituation, preferably in a mix of business and technical capacitied Technical Experience in WordML
