Data Analyst Job Type: Temporary (3-month secondment) Location: Trust for a School Salary: Competitive We are seeking a Data Analyst for a 3-month secondment to assist with data gathering and cleansing in preparation for the implementation of a new HR MIS/payroll system. This role is ideal for someone with strong data analysis experience and excellent Excel skills, who is ready to contribute to a significant project within an educational trust. Day-to-day of the role: Collaborate closely with the project lead to understand data requirements for the new HR MIS/payroll system. Gather necessary data from various sources within the school system. Perform data cleansing to ensure accuracy and completeness of the data. Assist in the analysis of data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement. Prepare reports and documentation on the data cleansing process and findings. Work with the HR and IT departments to ensure data integrity and alignment with system requirements. Provide support in the migration of cleansed data to the new system. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in data analysis and handling large datasets. Advanced proficiency in Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and macros). Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.
