IT Support Technician

IT Support Technician Responsibilities Resolve IT incidents and service requests, ranging from access issues to complex technical problems. Proactively improve IT support processes and recommend enhancements to management. Conduct daily operational checks, such as meeting room setups and application availability monitoring. Communicate known issues and workarounds to users and escalate unresolved issues as needed. Collaborate with third-party suppliers to ensure timely incident resolution. Produce high-quality documentation, including user guides and technical procedures. Lead and contribute to IT tasks and projects, such as hardware provisioning, software installations, and asset tracking. Support AV/Media setups, including Crestron technology and Teams meeting rooms. Participate in an on-call rota for out-of-hours support. IT Support Technician Requirements Proven experience in a similar IT support role; financial services or insurance exposure is advantageous. ITIL Foundation certification or higher. Strong technical skills in Windows 11, Azure Entra, Office 365, Azure Admin, Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, Citrix, and endpoint management with Intune. Experience using JIRA Service Management or ServiceNow is a plus. Familiarity with IAM processes, including Joiners, Movers, and Leavers procedures. Knowledge of applications such as OpenBox, Impact, DocoSoft, RMS, and ProCede is beneficial. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
