Job Title: Welder/Fabricator Location: Ilkley, West Yorkshire Company: Elevation Recruitment Group – Working with a Large Manufacturing Business About the Role: Elevation Recruitment Group is excited to partner with a large manufacturing business based in Ilkley, who are currently seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join their team. This is a permanent position on permanent morning shifts offering an excellent hourly rate, as well as opportunities for ongoing training and career development. Key Responsibilities: Perform MIG and TIG welding to a high standard, particularly on stainless steel . Fabricate metal components to precise engineering drawings and specifications. Operate and maintain robotic welding equipment (training available if necessary). Ensure all welds meet strict quality and safety standards . Conduct routine maintenance and checks on welding equipment. Work within a collaborative team, contributing to project success and achieving production goals. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Proactively identify areas for improvement in processes and quality. Follow company policies and health & safety regulations. Required Skills & Experience: Apprentice-trained in welding and fabrication (or equivalent). Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding , particularly on stainless steel . Some experience with robot welding equipment is beneficial, but training can be provided. Strong ability to interpret technical drawings . Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Willingness to learn new skills and develop further in the role. Ability to work effectively within a team.
