Operational Test Lead - Fully Remote Contract - Up to £600pd – 6 months

Are you an experienced Operational Test Lead looking to take on an exciting challenge? A leading tech company within the energy sector is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join their team and lead testing efforts for their next major project. As an Operational Test Lead, you will collaborate with multiple teams to oversee and manage the entire operational readiness process. You will work with the Test Manager, Product Owners, and Business SMEs to manage test resources, coordinate test execution activities, analyse results, and report on test outcomes. Key Responsibilities for an Operational Test lead: Over 5 years of experience in test coordination or management, especially in end-to-end testing scenarios. In-depth knowledge of testing processes, defect management, and effective stakeholder communication. Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to align on objectives and deliverables. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines. Proficient in utilizing test management tools to document, track, and report on testing activities. Operational Test Lead Desirables: Practitioner-level certification in Testing, Business Change, or Project Management (e.g., ISTQB, PRINCE2). Strong understanding of end-to-end business process testing and business acceptance criteria Experience with operational readiness testing in large-scale programs.
