Azure Data Engineer

Azure Data Engineer Location: Brighton / Home (Hybrid) Rate: £450 - £500 per day (INSIDE IR35) 4 Month Contract Skills: Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, SQL, Python We are looking to recruit an Azure Data Engineer on an initial 4 month contract for a technology driven public sector organisation. The Data Engineer will be responsible for BAU support and fixes in what will be a varied role. This is an initial 4 month contract. You will be required to work on site in Brighton 1 - 2 days a week for team days. Technical Skills: Essential Azure Databricks Understanding of cloud data platforms and data storage technologies (ideally Azure). Demonstrable hands-on Data Engineering development experience. Excellent SQL skills at both a functional and non-functional level. Understanding of data integration and workflow applications (ideally Azure Data Factory). Understanding of Agile working methodologies. Use of a branch-based source control. Desirable Python, Spark, C#, or other relevant programming skills Development of DevOps pipelines (Test automation, Infrastructure as Code, Continuous Integration/Deployment) Experience with Dataverse and the PowerPlatform
