Operating from a vibrant co-working space in Shoreditch, the company embraces a hybrid working model that aims to work around any and all employee needs The Role As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and deploying ML models that power their core products and services. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will deliver scalable solutions while ensuring best practices in model performance, reliability, and ethical AI implementation. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a proven track record in deploying machine learning models in production environments. Key Responsibilities Develop and deploy machine learning models to solve complex business problems. Optimize existing ML pipelines for performance and scalability. Collaborate with data engineers to ensure seamless integration of models into production systems. Conduct research and experimentation with new ML methodologies and frameworks. Ensure compliance with data governance and ethical AI standards. Monitor model performance and implement strategies for continuous improvement. Share expertise and mentor junior team members. Essential Skills Proven experience in developing and deploying machine learning models in production. Strong programming skills in Python, including experience with ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn. Solid understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) for ML deployment. Preferred Skills Experience working in a startup or scale-up environment. Knowledge of deep learning techniques and NLP. Familiarity with MLOps principles and tools like MLflow or Kubeflow. Background in deploying ML solutions within SaaS platforms.
