Job Description

System Integration Engineer - Crawley (Hybrid - 3 days a week) - Permanent - £50-60k About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Integration Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex integrations between various systems and platforms. You will play a critical role in ensuring seamless data flow and operational efficiency across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable integrations using various technologies, including but not limited to: SQL: Proficient in writing complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. API Integrations: Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, and other API protocols. Scripting Languages: Proficiency in scripting languages such as .NET, ASP, Python, Perl, or Ruby for automation and integration tasks. Analyze system requirements, identify integration points, and develop technical specifications. Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution. Monitor and maintain system performance and stability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., development, operations, business analysts) to ensure successful project delivery. Stay abreast of the latest integration technologies and best practices. Contribute to the improvement of existing integration processes and tools. Qualifications: 3 years of experience in system integration engineering. Strong proficiency in SQL, including advanced querying techniques (joins, subqueries, window functions). Experience with API integrations (REST, SOAP). Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Perl, Ruby). Experience with integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, SnapLogic) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
