Key Responsibilities : Compliance Oversight : Lead the firm’s compliance function, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory frameworks. Risk Management : Manage risk across all departments, focusing on proactive measures. Onboarding & Financial Crime Prevention : Handle onboarding processes with a strong emphasis on AML and financial crime compliance. Internal Audits : Conduct regular audits to identify and mitigate compliance risks. Policies & Procedures : Draft, review, and maintain internal policies to meet current legal standards. Stay up to date with SARs , AML regulations , and data protection frameworks , ensuring firm-wide compliance. About You : You are a seasoned compliance professional with extensive knowledge of legal sector regulations , including SRA Standards and Regulations , AML , GDPR , and more. You’re ready to hit the ground running, bringing expertise in managing compliance and risk in a law firm.
