Junior Network Engineer

Network Engineer I Location: Englewood, CO (hybrid - 4 days onsite) Contract Duration: 6-12 month contract with likelihood to convert or be extended Pay Rate: $30-32/hr Overview: The Edge Network and DOCSIS team at our Telecom client is looking to add a Network Engineer I to the team to support configuration changes, network enhancements, upgrades, and troubleshooting for new technology being implemented in the field. Skill Set Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 3.5 GPA. Strong communication skills and drive to work hard to support projects and troubleshooting efforts. Looking for someone who wants to grow their career and continue learning. Any previous customer service experience is nice to have. Responsibilities Responsible for the implementation of approved network/video architecture and designs Assists in the documentation and implementation of configuration changes to network systems of varying complexity. Responsible for troubleshooting and testing new technologies or issues in the field. Develop and implement network/video enhancements while following corporate standards. Ability to perform duties in a very fast-paced environment and ability to learn new technologies quickly. Ability to use personal computer and software applications. Ability to work in a team environment. Team Overview: There are 7 engineers on the team across varying levels. They are very collaborative and love to help each other learn and grow within the organization.
