Senior Software Engineer

Software Engineer 6-month contract to hire Seattle, WA Hybrid (2 days a week) Job Summary: As a member of our Cloud Applications team, you will lead and collaborate on projects to build out highly scalable, high-volume, and performant, healthcare data integration and data processing services. You will build solutions targeted for Microsoft Azure or Salesforce deployments. The ideal candidate will be a strong coder who is passionate about quality and security, experienced in highly available cloud solutions, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Design, document, and implement engineering solutions both individually and as part of a team. Hands on full stack coding including front-end, back-end microservices, databases, cloud infrastructure, and test automation. Produce high-quality code by creating and executing test plans, utilizing test automation, leveraging static analysis, and participating in code reviews. Utilize Secure by Design development practices. Create threat models. Conduct Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) Analyze engineering challenges and develop solutions. Conduct code reviews for quality, security, and maintainability. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field Minimum of 4 years of experience in software engineering Strong technical and analytical skills Experience in full stack development front-end, back-end microservices, database, cloud infrastructure, and test automation. Experience working in an Agile development process. Experience with Black Box, White Box, and automated testing frameworks Experience with Threat Modelling. Experience with fully automated CI/CD pipelines Knowledge of engineering principles and best practices Knowledge of design patterns and how to apply them. Experience designing and building highly available Cloud based solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Able to work as part of a team and independently. Preferred Qualifications: Hands on experience with Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS) Experience with the healthcare domain. Experience with healthcare data and standards such as HL7 and FHIR Experience C#, Python, Java, and the Selenium testing framework. Experience with building Salesforce applications. Experience with Web Components Experience with Angular
