Who You Are You are an exceptional Learning and Development Officer with a high level of knowledge about Housing Benefit and Homelessness Reduction and Prevention. Possessing a CIPD qualification or similar, you have a proven track record in designing and delivering training programs that align with organizational needs. You are proactive, organized, and thrive under pressure, with excellent communication, customer service, and time management skills. Additionally, you are self-motivated, innovative, and creative, with the ability to conduct research to develop comprehensive training courses. Your technical proficiency with Google applications and eagerness to learn new systems are complemented by your enthusiasm, drive, and integrity. What the Job Involves The role involves delivering in-person training and designing courses to meet the specific needs of the Benefits and Housing Needs, Customer Services, and Revenues teams. You will work collaboratively within a team, responsible for creating a variety of training programs that encompass system, legislative, policy, process, and interpersonal skills. Managing and agreeing on priorities, you will ensure training is delivered effectively under tight deadlines. You will identify training needs through analysis and consultation with stakeholders, and review learning outcomes of individuals or groups. This position requires a flexible approach to meet service demands, with a focus on continuous improvement and adapting to policy and legislative changes.
