Junior BOM/EDM Engineer

Position Title: Junior BOM/EDM Engineer Duration: Contract Location: 5 days onsite in Shalford About the Role Are you passionate about delivering excellence in project management? Our client is seeking a Junior BOM/EDM Engineer to work alongside and support an existing Project Manager. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge Manufacturing & Logistics department, ensuring customer vehicles are delivered on time, to the highest quality standards, and with cost efficiency. Key Responsibilities In this role, you'll be instrumental in the successful execution of projects, handling tasks such as: BOM Management: Oversee Bill of Materials to ensure seamless project execution. ETRS Development & Tracking: Assist in developing and monitoring Engineering Task Review Sheets. Cost & Mass Tracking: Maintain records to manage budgets and product specifications effectively. Metrics Tracking & Reporting : Monitor project performance and provide detailed updates. Project Planning: Collaborate on creating and managing comprehensive project plans. Team Coordination: Act as a liaison between project engineers, design engineers, and the Project Manager to ensure tasks are aligned and delivered. Ideal Candidate: Strong experience in database management, VBA, scripting, or macros. Excellent communication skills for liaising with cross-functional teams. A detail-oriented approach with a focus on maintaining quality and operational excellence.
