Senior Category and Insights Manager

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced 'Senior Category and Insights Manager' to transform insights into actionable strategies, drive category growth, and deliver innovative retail solutions. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of Westland and drive meaningful impact on our success. Main Duties: Deliver credible, insight led and actionable recommendations to support the growth of the category, customer and Westland. Effectively translate data into actions for the sales team to support customer presentations, listing opportunities and the successful introduction of NPD. Work collaboratively with Marketing and Sales functions to provide a shopper, retailer and competitor perspective to identify key questions and challenges for the category or business. Monitor category sales performance, analyse data, and make recommendations for continuous improvement and delivering category growth objectives. Provide strategic category and shopper insights to develop authoritative channel / customer strategies and identify opportunities for growth and innovation within each market category Westland operates in. Experience / Capability Criteria Senior Category management experience or product marketing background (3-5yrs) – FMCG background preferred Experience in delivering fact-based selling stories to influence decision-making Strategic thinker with strong commercial skills proactive in identifying business opportunities Collaborative team player with excellent communication and presentation skills Strong working knowledge of consumer / shopper data tools e.g. Nielsen, Kantar, Dunnhumby alongside customer EPOS Why Join Westland?
