They are now seeking an Associate Director to join their Project Management team in Yorkshire to lead on the delivery of a range of works, split 50/50 between the Department for Education and other public sector projects. The role This role presents an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual to take responsibility for providing all services relating to project management across Yorkshire. Main purpose of the role; Lead and oversee project activities, ensuring effective communication and compliance with established governance procedures To understand, anticipate, inform and deliver great outcomes for their clients, every time, everywhere To drive exceptional delivery, health & safety, commercial, risk management and quality performance on infrastructure projects throughout the project lifecycle To develop a team of Project Managers with a strong pipeline of work The candidate The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a consultancy or developer environment and demonstrate a positive proactive approach to the role, and will be committed to delivering customer service excellence, with good commercial results. Essential experience includes; Construction related degree or a similar construction related qualification with extensive technical delivery experience in a similar role gained within a consultancy or developer Experience of delivering projects in education and public (or comparable) sectors Well organised, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined and commercially astute Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and verbal Our client wants their people to succeed both in work and life.
