HGV Mechanic

Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanic to join and help grow our Musselburgh based client, on a full-time temporary ongoing basis, as a HGV Mechanic. Working as a HGV Mechanic: Monday to Friday, 06:30 to 16:30 (overtime available) Pay from 30,000 per annum Plus a range of company benefits and rewards Your duties as an HGV Mechanic will include: Liaising with other departments, staff and suppliers General maintenance across the site; carrying out minor and major repairs on vehicles Using a variety of specialised tools Completing administration duties Other mechanic and maintenance duties To be successful in this role you will ideally have the following skills, traits and experience: The ability to work on your own and as part of a team Be punctual, reliable and flexible, and; willing to learn new skills Great attention to detail Basic computer skills Proven desirable experience within a mechanic/vehicle technician role is advantageous Please Note - Due to the location of our client's site, successful applicants must have a valid UK driving license and access to your own vehicle.
