Electrical Design Engineer Automated Machinery Competitive salary company benefits Flexibility working hours and hybrid flex Cheshire West Overview We are supporting a well-established machinery build company within the industrial automation sector that are currently looking to add an Electrical Design Engineer with experience to the structure. The company design and manufacture bespoke capital equipment that is supplied globally and are a dynamic and growing business giving opportunity to further your career looking ahead. The Role Reporting into the Electrical Design Manager, you will be responsible for end to end everything electrically - sizing calculations for drives and motors, current and panel cooling. You will be allocated a project and this will take anything from 6 - 12 weeks to complete depending on the complexity. Once you are through the first few weeks, you will then be providing tech support for the Assembly team in Production when they start to carry out the wiring. You will also be working with Procurement by releasing a BOM so they can get the parts required. Qualifications, Skills and Experience Degree in Electrical Engineering or HNC Circa 5 years experience in a similar role within automated machinery design ideally, they can be open to which sector Must have experience with electrical control panel design EPLAN experience desirable Strong attention to detail and organisation skills Analytical and proving solving skills Capability to work to tight deadline Enjoys the personal feel of working within a growing SME What you will get in return For a 37.5 working week, you will receive a generous base salary alongside 25 days holidays plus bank holidays, pension contribution scheme, sick pay scheme, 3 x life assurance plus other benefits.
