Reinsurance Senior Legal Counsel - London based Hybrid role

Wonderful opportunity for an experienced lawyer with insurance and reinsurance experience to work with a global insurance company in an award winning team looking to grow and develop. They are looking for an emotionally astute and kind team player who can bring a broad wisdom and life experience as well as a technical proficiency to the role. Responsibilities Provide legal advise and vision within the reinsurance department Work with other in-house counsels and outside counsels, as required Reinsurance disputes management Provide support to the GC and leadership team Qualifications Qualified as a solicitor in a UK jurisdiction with at least 5 years’ post-qualification experience. Strong academic background and training Highly organised and able to manage concurrent projects and deadlines in a fast-moving environment. Strong communicator, skilled at advising and influencing on complex topics in a direct, commercial manner without jargon or sitting on the fence. Willing to work on a broad range of projects, to try new things, and to step outside your legal specialism to help the team.
