Learning support assistant

Prospero Teaching are seeking to appoint a passionate and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) on behalf of a dynamic and inclusive school in Knowsley. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the teaching and learning process, working closely with teachers to deliver engaging and effective lessons. As a HLTA, you will: Lead small group interventions and support individual students. Assist in the assessment and tracking of student progress. Provide cover for teachers during short-term absences. Support the development of student's social and emotional skills. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. About you: HLTA status or equivalent qualification. Previous experience working as a HLTA or in a similar role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
