Functional Skills English Tutor Annual Salary: £28,879.45 - £33,836.20 Location: Wetherby Job Type: Full-time, Permanent We are seeking a dedicated Functional Skills Tutor for English and Maths in the Offender Learning Sector. Day-to-day of the role: Develop and deliver high-quality, learner-focused education in English to meet contractual requirements and standards. Create engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of a diverse group of learners. Assess and record learner progress, providing feedback to help them improve. Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the learning environment and achieve the best outcomes for all involved. Maintain compliance with policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and supportive setting for education. Required Skills & Qualifications: Full teaching qualification specifically in English and Maths. Minimum Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy.
