Trainee CNC Plasma Operator

Ashton Recruitment are seeking a Trainee CNC Plasma Operator for our busy trailer manufacturing client based in Ballynahinch. The successful applicant will be required to operate a CNC plasma profile cutter, press brake and guillotine. Full training will be provided for the right candidate. Position: Trainee CNC Plasma Operator Rate of Pay: £11.44 per hour (50p timekeeping bonus on completion of a full 40 hour week) Job Duties: General setup and maintenance of machine Selecting and loading material onto the cutting bed. Loading pre-populated programmes onto the PLC controller with the aid of technical documents and/or cutting lists Selection and preparation of cutting heads in accordance to cutting requirements Monitoring cutting programmes, checking parts with respective drawings and amending working parameters when necessary Deburring of parts using grinding tools Material handling of finished parts for safe transport to welding department Desirable Criteria: A background in Engineering / Manufacturing Health & Safety awareness Excellent attention to detail Ashton Recruitment is acting as an Employment Business.
