Lead the Change Toward a Greener Future A market-leading food manufacturer is seeking an experienced Environmental and Sustainability Manager to drive meaningful environmental improvements and lead sustainability initiatives at their site. Your Key Responsibilities Develop and Implement Environmental Systems: Build and maintain ISO 14001-aligned environmental management systems to ensure legal compliance and operational excellence. Champion Sustainability Initiatives: Lead carbon footprint tracking (Scope 1, 2, and 3), align site goals with group-level sustainability objectives, and support decarbonisation efforts. Drive Energy Efficiency: Develop ISO 50001-aligned energy management systems, analyse energy use, and implement strategies to reduce consumption and emissions. Promote Environmental Best Practices: Implement pollution prevention controls, manage trade effluent compliance, and instil a culture of environmental awareness across the site. Collaborate and Inspire: Work cross-functionally to develop Environmental and Energy Champions, ensuring a collaborative approach to sustainability. About You Experience as a Site Environmental Manager or within a larger sustainability-focused team. Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 standards, with the ability to apply best practices.
