Role: Test Floor Technician Salary: £39,500 - £45,000 (DOE) Full Time Location: SO21 Skills: Warehouse Duties, Hardware and Lab Infrastructure Support, IT Support Description: 1. Undertake General Warehouse Duties: General Warehouse duties for Lab Environments: Packing and unpacking hardware, Use of lifting equipment and pallet trucks Correct part identification and shipment preparation Administrative duties: Record Keeping Asset tracking GDPR compliance Loan management Shipping paperwork checks Scrapping hardware via provided processes 2. Support Developers working in Lab Environments Provide Technical Support for Developers and Test Engineers: Movement of h/w in and out of 42u racks Computer hardware knowledge Linux and Windows operating system knowledge Basic Electrical and Electronic experience Networking technologies (Ethernet & Fibre switches, IPv4 and IPv6) Gathering of requirements for configurations to be built Support Lab Infrastructure Understand Distributed Power (3 phase) Understand Lab Cooling 3. IT Support IT Support activities Maintain records and IT Security compliance for systems and lab locations Technical administration of local databases and monitoring systems Problem determination of Network, Server and Storage issues Remote Hand and Eyes support for Worldwide teams Skills: Warehouse Admin Technical Support
