Job Description

Working for a welcoming, successful business in the heart of Montrose during their busiest time will be an opportunity available for someone looking for stable temporary work for a minimum of 4 months starting in 2025 Due to the peak in workload the business will require someone with the ability to work 7am - 3.30pm Monday - Friday. 12.50 per hour We are looking for someone to support the Transport coordinator in ensuring that dispatch desk is run efficiently, with that your basic day to day duties will be:  Providing exceptional customer service  Liaising with Drivers on a daily basis  Producing documents  Operating the weighbridge, ensuring vehicles are weighed in and off site  Advising drivers, staff and contractors of the health and safety guidelines on-site  Ensuring that all booking, Pick list and weighing information is accurately recorded  Ensuring goods received and dispatched are processed according to company procedures and protocols This is a busy and exciting role which requires someone able to communicate well with subcontractors, staff and customers alike and takes health and safety seriously. People previously successful in securing employment with this company have had administration experience and a great ability to build strong working relationships quickly.
