This opportunity might be the ideal role for you We are seeking a humanities graduate to join a secondary school in Hackney, starting as soon as possible. Benefits: £90-100 a day (Term time only, until July 2025) Full training to support your teaching abilities Work alongside a leadership team committed to your professional growth Gain hands-on experience assisting in lesson delivery and providing one-on-one tutoring Role: Assisting with classroom management and lesson delivery across subjects such as English, History, or Social Studies Collaborating with senior teachers to enhance students’ learning and academic progress Providing one-on-one tutoring in humanities subjects, helping students improve their skills and confidence Creating a positive and engaging learning atmosphere Developing your teaching skills and gaining experience in managing diverse classroom dynamics Requirements: A 2:1 degree or higher in a humanities-related field from a top 20 UK university Experience working with young people, particularly in a teaching/coaching role Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively manage classroom behaviour A love of the humanities and an eagerness to teach it If this opportunity sounds great to you and you meet our criteria, we’d love to hear from you Ribbons & Reeves are London’s leading Education Recruiters.
