Events Manager

What an opportunity this is - an Event Bars Manager for probably the most iconic venue in Bath. Known, recognised and revered world wide it truly is an amazing operation. And is now looking for an Event Bars Manager to join the senior management team to take responsibility for everything bars related on site. It is a beast of an operation and we need someone with event bars experience used to managing multiple high volume operations, 200 people and thousands of visitors. Benefits: £37.5 hours a week contract predominantly Monday to Friday 25 days holiday bank holidays Hybrid working after probation period Free parking Generous employee discounts Company pension As the Event Bars Manager you will: Recruit, hire, train and develop your team Liaise and negotiate with suppliers Manage cellars, minimise wastage and maximise sales Order and control stock Oversee all bar operations Improve operating procedures, systems and control measures Manage labour and all costs and budgets Maintain high standards, compliance and company systems & procedures Oversee and work closely with wider management team Deliver exceptional customer service Work to company targets and KPIs' Attributes - Event Bars Manager Experience gained managing high volume food and beverage events events - specifically bars Very strong leadership, communication, organisation, performance management and delegation skills The ability to train and manage large teams Strong financial & commercial acumen - P & L accountability An intrinsic understanding of legislation & compliance A fun and outgoing approach, able to motive and enthuse people to deliver results Excellent technical bar skills - cellar/GP/margin/wastage management A positive and outgoing personality and outlook IT literate - working with systems & process Apply today Please note: You must be resident in the UK and eligible to work.
