Support for Learning Assistant (Advanced) - FLK12417

Job Advert Falkirk Council are looking to recruit a Support for Learning Assistant for Carmuirs Primary School. You will provide support for teachers and enhance experiences and achievement for children. Experience of working with pupils with ASN and in nurture bases is beneficial. We place great importance on our nurturing approach and ability to build positive relationships and we would look for this in a new staff. You will undertake a range of support activities with regard to general supervision, safety, care and well-being of the children. Good communication skills are essential. You should enjoy working as part of a team. You will work 22 hours per week on a term time basis. Your working pattern will be Monday to Thursday 9am to 2pm, and Friday 9am to 1pm. This post is temporary until June 2025 due to service requirement. If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/ maintain PVG scheme membership.
