TQuanta Technologies - Node.js Developer - Express.js/Javascript

We are looking for an experienced Node.js Developer with a strong background in building scalable and high-performance server-side applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in back-end development, APIs, and cloud technologies. Roles and Responsibilities - Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable server-side applications using -Node.js-. - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code to meet project requirements. - Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end applications. - Work on third-party API integrations and ensure data exchange security. - Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability. - Identify and fix performance bottlenecks and issues in the application. - Design and maintain efficient database schemas using relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB). - Write optimized queries and manage database interactions. - Perform regular code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. - Implement unit and integration testing to ensure software quality. - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, designers, and project managers, to deliver end-to-end solutions. - Participate in agile ceremonies like daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. - Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipeline implementation and infrastructure management. - Identify and resolve complex technical issues in development and production environments. - Monitor application performance and implement improvements as necessary. - Ensure applications follow security best practices and are safeguarded against vulnerabilities. - Handle user authentication and authorization using frameworks like JWT, OAuth, etc. - Stay updated on the latest Node.js and JavaScript trends, libraries, and technologies. - Propose innovative solutions to improve development processes and application architecture. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Experience: Minimum of 5.5 years in developing server-side applications using Node.js - Programming Languages: Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript. - Frameworks:Experience with Express.js, NestJS, or similar frameworks. - Database Skills: Strong knowledge of databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc. - Version Control: Proficient in Git and understanding of version control workflows (Gitflow). - API Development: Expertise in RESTful and GraphQL API design and implementation. - Testing Tools:Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Mocha, Chai, Jest, etc. - DevOps:Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services. - Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work in a team, and strong communication skills. Preferred Skills: - Experience with microservices architecture. - Knowledge of WebSockets for real-time communication. - Familiarity with front-end technologies like Angular, React, or Vue.js. - Understanding of message queues like Rabbit MQ or Kafka.
