Job Title: Software Engineer - Backend About the Role : We are seeking a talented and passionate Backend Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team. Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using [mention preferred languages/frameworks, e.g, Java, Python, Node.js, Go, Spring Boot, Flask, etc. - Develop and implement scalable and high-performance backend systems using cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Write clean, well-documented, and testable code following best practices and coding standards. - Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. - Collaborate closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. - Troubleshoot and debug issues in production environments. - Contribute to the improvement of our engineering processes and tools. - Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends. Qualifications : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Strong proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Java, Python, Node.js, Go. - Experience with designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices. - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is preferred. - Experience with relational databases (e.g, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g, MongoDB, Cassandra). - Experience with message queues (e.g, Kafka, RabbitMQ) is a plus. - Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. - Strong understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Passion for building high-quality software (ref:hirist.tech)
