Job Role : Neo4J - Lambda Senior Developer Experience : 5-7 years Location : Hyderabad Notice Period : Immediate to 15 Days Position : C2H Job Description : Neo4J - Lambda Senior Developer : TheNeo4J - Lambda Senior Developer will work within a team of other technical development resources in a geographically diverse environment. The goal is to deliver on requirements prioritized by the client, address support issues raised against the development platform as well as proactively identifying areas for improvement in a challenging technical landscape. Key skills are communication, problem/opportunity analysis and strongNeo4J - Lambda knowledge Neo4J Technical Responsibilities : 1. Neo4J Development : - Develop, implement, and optimize Cypher queries for querying graph databases in Neo4J to ensure efficient data retrieval and high-performance application functionality. - Design and maintain nodes and relationships in Neo4J, ensuring the database schema is efficient and scalable for current and future needs. - Utilize APOC (Awesome Procedures On Cypher) functions for advanced graph database operations, enhancing the functionality of Neo4J. - Optimize query performance and troubleshoot slow-performing queries or database issues to enhance system performance. - Implement Neo4J backups, restore procedures, and maintain high availability of Neo4J instances. - Perform log file analysis to diagnose issues in the Neo4J database and Lambda functions. 2. Lambda Development : - Develop and deploy serverless applications using AWS Lambda, focusing on scalable, efficient, and cost-effective solutions. - Ensure smooth integration of Lambda functions with other services in the AWS ecosystem, such as API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, etc. - Manage and optimize Lambda function performance (e.g., execution time, memory usage, and costs) to meet client requirements and improve operational efficiency. - Ensure Lambda functions handle large-scale data processing tasks seamlessly and are optimized for high availability. 3. Java Development : - Utilize Java for Lambda function implementation, integrating with Neo4J and other cloud services. - Leverage Java to enhance the performance of Lambda functions, ensuring efficient memory management, multi-threading, and error handling. 4. Linux System Management : - Comfortable with Linux basic commands for managing Neo4J and Lambda infrastructure, including starting/restarting services, analyzing logs, and performing backups. - Proficient in troubleshooting and maintaining a stable environment using Linux tools, including system monitoring and diagnostics. 5. Support and Maintenance : - Address support issues and bugs raised against the development platform, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations. - Collaborate with other teams to implement fixes, conduct post-mortem analysis, and implement preventive measures. 6. Project Management Activities : - Oversee and manage project activities such as scheduling, resource allocation, tracking progress, and ensuring the project stays on track. - Work closely with project managers to prioritize tasks, report progress, and ensure alignment with overall project timelines. 7. Documentation and Reporting : - Ensure all technical and project-related documentation is up to date, including code documentation, process documentation, and architecture diagrams. - Provide regular status updates and technical reports to stakeholders, keeping them informed of progress and challenges. Key Skills and Competencies : 1. Neo4J and Cypher Query Optimization : - Strong expertise in Neo4J and Cypher queries for data management and optimization. - In-depth understanding of graph database structures, including the effective design of nodes, relationships, and indexes. 2. AWS Lambda Expertise : - Proficiency in AWS Lambda, including developing and optimizing Lambda functions for scalability and performance. - Understanding of serverless architecture, its benefits, and limitations, with a focus on cost optimization.
