Location: Maidstone Job Type: Interim, Office-based Access: Must have own vehicle due to the location Role Overview: As the Interim Finance Manager, you will oversee the finance function, ensuring efficient management and operation of all financial activities. This role is pivotal in providing strategic financial insight and ensuring the smooth execution of finance-related tasks. Key Responsibilities: Cash and Bank Management: Oversee cash forecasting and perform bank reconciliations. Cash Flow Management: Conduct detailed cash flow forecasting to predict future financial positions. Account Reconciliation: Manage nominal ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Journal Management: Prepare and post accurate journal entries. Reporting: Generate debtor and creditor reports to monitor company liabilities and assets. Ledger Management: Supervise all sales and purchase ledger functions, ensuring transactions are processed efficiently. Payroll Preparation: Compile necessary information for payroll processing. Team Leadership: Manage one finance team member, providing guidance and support. Compliance: Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns in compliance with legal requirements. Ideal Candidate: Proven Experience: Demonstrable experience in Finance Management, particularly within roles that mirror the responsibilities listed above. Availability: Able to start on short notice and commit to the duration of the interim period. Skills: Strong organizational and leadership skills, excellent numerical proficiency, and adept at using financial software. Transportation: Due to the office location, access to personal transport is necessary.
