This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with pupils, helping them manage their behaviour and achieve their potential. Behaviour Support Assistant Role As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will: Work 1:1 and with small groups to provide tailored behaviour support. Assist in managing challenging behaviours in the classroom and around the school. Build positive relationships with pupils to promote engagement and positive attitudes to learning. Support teaching staff in delivering lessons by maintaining a calm and productive classroom environment. Implement behaviour management strategies in line with the school’s policies. Act as a mentor to pupils, encouraging their social, emotional, and academic development. Behaviour Support Assistant Requirements We are looking for a candidate who: Has experience working with young people with challenging behaviours, ideally in a school setting. Is resilient, patient, and confident in managing challenging situations. Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
