Many of the children you will work with have experienced difficult circumstances, such as domestic abuse, trafficking, or other forms of trauma. Each student has an EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) focusing on their social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. Help students develop emotional resilience and a sense of self-worth, providing a safe and supportive environment. Offer tailored support to meet each child’s academic, social, and emotional needs, helping them overcome challenges and thrive. Engage in meaningful conversations around mental health, self-belief, and social impact, serving as a positive role model. Collaborate with a committed team in a specialist SEN school, working with students in 1:1 and small group settings.
