Description Develop strategies to identify new business opportunities and expand market presence. Lead the Accounting & Finance team in executing these strategies. Forge strong relationships with clients to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met. Monitor industry trends and competitor activity. Prepare and present detailed reports on business development activities. Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Profile A successful Business Development Accountant should have: A qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - ideally AAT/ACA/ACCA Proven experience or strong interest in a business development role within the professional services industry. Strong financial acumen and business development skills. Excellent negotiation and relationship management abilities. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong knowledge of the professional services industry. Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
