Disease Associate Solicitor About the Role Ouy client is seeking an experienced Claims Handler to join their Disease Litigation team based in Liverpool. The team handles a wide range of industrial disease cases for large insurer and corporate clients. You will manage a caseload of litigated claims, including noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL), HAVS, upper limb disorders, and asbestos-related injuries. Additionally, you will support Partners and Principal Associates with complex cases, offering exposure to a diverse and rewarding workload. Key Responsibilities Manage litigated disease claims efficiently and independently. Support senior colleagues on high-value, complex cases. Draft strategies, pleadings, and reports. Conduct legal research and investigations. Liaise with clients, counsel, and other parties. Attend conferences, court, and client meetings. Contribute to business development and client relationship initiatives. Meet financial, quality, and client service targets. About You The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience handling NIHL, HAVS/WRULD, and asbestos-related claims. Litigation expertise with strong technical skills. A paralegal, Legal Executive, or Solicitor qualification (up to three years' PQE preferred). A proactive, client-focused, and solution-driven approach. Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills. Experience with business development is desirable but not essential.
