Head of Estates – Wiltshire/Hybrid Live DV Clearance £80,000 - £90,000k per annum benefits As Head of Estates, you will lead and manage a team of functional specialists to deliver an estate that is fit for purpose, working, compliant safe with secure estates and facilities. You will manage specialists both in-house and outsourced service providers. This is a demanding role where you will work closely with Head of Operational Delivery, Head and Deputy Head of Establishment (HOE/DHOE) to ensure that the portfolio of demand is visible and effectively prioritised, building and implementing an Estates Strategy and long-term site plan. Job description You will build strong relationships with internal customers as well as external stakeholders in Ministry of Defence (MOD) and wider defence, local and central government. Providing a ’facilities as a service ‘under a landlord-tenant model, you will work with the DHOE to allocate facilities, understanding the availability, condition and capability. Person specification You will have: Expertise in building engineering, Facility Management or a closely related subject A strong understanding of property industry trends, regulatory requirements and market dynamics. Experience managing complex and substantial Facilities Management and Estates activities, Experience managing third party suppliers and budgets of £25M.
