Inventory Controller

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a detail-oriented Inventory Controller to join a leading FMCG company based in Johannesburg North. The ideal candidate will have 35 years of experience in inventory management within the FMCG sector and a completed qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field. This role is critical to ensuring optimal inventory levels, accurate record-keeping, and efficient stock management. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels to meet business demands. Conduct regular stock counts and reconciliations to ensure accuracy. Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly. Optimize stock control processes to minimize wastage and ensure efficient storage. Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure timely stock replenishment. Analyze inventory data to identify trends and forecast requirements. Maintain compliance with FMCG regulations and company policies regarding stock handling and storage. Generate and present inventory reports to management, highlighting key insights and areas for improvement. Qualifications and Experience: Completed qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field. 35 years of inventory control experience within the FMCG sector. Proficiency in inventory management systems and tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
