Job description About the role: We are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated Tutor in the Wakefield area who can deliver one or more of these sector subjects and work on a new project with young people: Health and Social Care Management Education/Teaching You must hold a Level 4 Teaching Qualification to apply for this role. You will be responsible for delivering a wide range of training and qualifications, assisting individuals to improve specific skills and move them closer to their personal goals and/or closer to employment. Your role will involve delivering engaging training sessions, assessing learners' progress, and providing personalised guidance to help them achieve their learning goals. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, a passion for education, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners. Role themes: People Motivation | Training and Delivery | Quality & Continuous Improvement Required criteria: Previous experience in customer-facing, training, education or learning environments. Training qualification at Level 4 Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with learners from diverse backgrounds Strong literacy, numeracy and digital skills are essential. Personal skills include creativity, being inspirational/able to create a personal impact and being highly motivated. Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate learners and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs. Comfortable using instructional technology tools and resources to enhance language instruction and engage learners in digital learning environments. Desirable criteria: PGCE, QTS or a related field. Experience creating engaging and interactive lesson plans that align with the learners goals, incorporating various teaching materials, resources, and activities. Previous experience in delivering adult education programs. You will be comfortable supporting a diverse range of individuals on a 1-2-1 basis or in groups and have very strong engagement and communication skills. Training and Delivery Conduct initial assessments to determine learners starting levels and identify areas for improvement. Regularly evaluate learner progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Effectively manage varying sized groups of learners, being able to adapt to various learning styles. Full responsibility of delivering innovative training solutions based on local priorities and contractual requirements. Feedback on training materials, identifying new and creative ways to engage learners Quality & Continuous Improvement A keen eye for detail with excellent administrative skills and a continuous improvement mindset Regular evaluation of your courses to ensure they are adding value to our learners and supporting them to move forwards their personal goals.
