Specialist Teaching Assistant

Role and Responsibilities: Provide support to teachers in delivering tailored educational programs. Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs). Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Support students with their social and emotional development. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the best outcomes for students. Requirements: Direct or transferable experience working with children, preferably in a special needs setting. A genuine passion for supporting the educational and personal development of children with special needs. Ideally, possess a DBS on the update system. If not, must be willing to obtain one. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
