Mechanical Assembler Job Type: Full-time Location: Harlow A market leader in high-security gates, barriers, and access control systems is experiencing year-on-year growth and is now seeking a mechanical assembler. With an electro-mechanical background and some experience in service and maintenance, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of automated security products. Full training will be provided, making this a challenging and exciting opportunity for those who are proactive and possess excellent problem-solving skills. Day to Day of the role: Repair and maintain a wide range of automated security products including sliding gates, hinged gates, barriers, blockers, bollards, and control panels. Carry out fault diagnosis, identify and replace faulty components. Test systems to ensure correct setting and operation. Complete a nine-point force test and report any failures immediately. Accurately complete site-related reports for repairs and maintenance. Ensure jobs are completed within the allocated time. Provide competent technical assistance when required. Maintain compliance with company procedures, including Health and Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards. Uphold high standards of housekeeping including appearance, vehicles, van stock, tools, and equipment. Display a proactive, can-do attitude and take ownership of problems. Proactively visit clients and sites to offer services and assist with business growth. Benefits: Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
