Learning Support Assistant

Milk Education are recruiting for a purpose-driven, ambitious Learning Support Assistant to join an exceptional SEN Secondary school in Huyton, L36. Any primary SEN experience would be acceptable for this role, and can be a long-term or a day 2 day bookings. You’ll be joining an inclusive and supportive school, focused on diversity and promoting a loving academic environment for those with additional needs. This is an exciting role for an experienced educator to join a fantastic school to support pupils in reaching their potential Learning Support Assistant Role & Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 or small group support for students with additional learning needs, both inside and outside the classroom Support students in developing skills for independent learning and personal growth. Assist in the preparation and adaptation of learning resources and materials Work closely with teachers to monitor and assess students' progress, offering feedback and suggestions where necessary. Learning Support Assistant Non-negotiables: Experience working with young people in an educational setting is desirable but not essential Must have enhanced DBS or willing to purchase one and register with on the Update Service. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience working with children / young adults with additional needs. Essential Qualifications: Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND.
