Health and Safety Manager

My client is a leading contractor currently working on the construction of a major industrial project on the Welsh border near Chester. they are currently looking for an experienced health and safety manager for the following; Ensure activites executed in compliances with applicable UK legislations and regulations Prepare risk analysis prior commencement of work, follow up, inspect and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations that are referred to in risk analysis and work methods Keep continuous communication with HSE managers and Project Managers, share non-compliances with relevant parties and provide solutions Prepare HSE Plan, annual work plans and coordinate processes Ensure necessary notifications are filed in case of accidents and occupational diseases, analyze and report root causes of accidents and near-misses, revise training content and content of risk analysis Prepare Health and Safety audit reports and submit it to QHSE Manager Prepare HSE statistics on a monthly basis and report to QHSE Manager Ensure that un-safe act and conditions which are identified during site inspections are recovered immediately Candidates should ideally have a degree and NEBOSH diploma or NVQ level 6 diploma or equivalent. They should also have a CSCS card and must be able to demonstrate a successful career working on major construction projects including electrical, mechanical and industrial aspects.
