Bid Manager Kent £90,000 Package Construction & Maintenance Contractor The Role: Regen Solutions are looking for an experience Bid Manager to join one of the industries most exciting contractors that work within the construction and maintenance market. This is a brand new role within the business and so the successful applicant will be able to make their own mark on the team and establish a new way of working. The company has very exciting growth plans and this is an instrumental position in helping them succeed. Develop, write and lead the submission of bids and proposals, create tender submissions, and be collaborative in proofing/editing your colleagues’ work. Contribute to the development of new services, systems and innovative models of delivery as part of developing submissions. Attend relevant events/briefing, and may also attend interviews and/or presentations as part of the bid process. As the department grows you will also have a role in mentoring additional junior members of the team to ensure you are promoting ongoing professional development and the production of top quality bids. Key Skills: Excellent writing & editing ability Strong analytical skills and knowledge to appraise tender opportunities. Organised, hard working and flexible A genuine interest in the sector Able to write creative, aspirational and meaningful submissions Duties: Managing Tender process in its entirety, checking portals, deadlines, clarifications. Responding to queries raised, requesting information, responsibility for timely submissions and management of all portals Providing end-to-end support throughout the proposal life cycle, including proposal management and advice, presentations and obtaining client feedback Draft documents and case studies, including cover statements, executive summaries, team and CV information, and company experience Reviewing and amending the proposal document and content to required standards, Carry out debriefs on submissions and feedback received Proactively seeking new methodologies, tools and innovations to deliver proposals in different ways.
