Service Architect

️Service Architect Corsham - this is a hybrid role with at least 3 days per week on site ⌚6 Month Contract (37.5 hours per week) £600 - £635 per day (Inside IR35) SC Clearance Our client is working with the MOD and supporting them with the development of their End User Services. They are looking for a Service Architect who has experience working in a Defence environment and who is very user focused and can take time to understand their requirements. You will need Defence experience for this role. The Key Responsibilities of a Service Architect: The design and implementation of ITIL-based processes to manage the support and delivery of complex solutions and services. Understand MODNET target architectures for Official, Secret and Overseas. Lead and deliver a series of technical architectures that conform to MOD principles as far as the schedule and commercial boundaries are practicable. Working with suppliers and internal MOD stakeholders to develop a series of architectures which will be used to inform projects ensuring no disruption of services. Prepare and review Service Architectures and their implementation for Government protectively marked systems. Define the requirements for a target Service Delivery solution and its implementation. Select appropriate design standards, methods, and tools, consistent with agreed enterprise and solution architectures and ensure they are applied effectively. Key Skills: Previous experience in a Service role working within Defence. An understanding of MODNet target architectures for Official, Secret and Overseas. Demonstrated experience managing all technical aspects of a Service Lifecycle from Requirements definition to Service Obsolescence. Experience of significant Service Management and Design roles under the ITIL framework including managing client engagements.
