Key Stage 1 Teacher

Position: Part-Time Year 1 Teacher (Job Share) Location: North Chesterfield Contract Type: Part-Time (2 days per week) Days: Monday and Tuesday Start Date: February 2025 We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join our small, welcoming primary school in North Chesterfield. This part-time role involves working in a job share with an experienced and well-established member of staff, teaching a Year 1 class. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum . Teach phonics to support early reading and writing development. Collaborate effectively with your job share partner to ensure continuity of learning and progress for pupils. Foster a positive, nurturing classroom environment that supports every child's needs. About You: To be successful in this role, you will need: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) . A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum , including phonics instruction. A collaborative approach to working with colleagues and engaging with pupils. A passion for supporting young learners in their academic and personal development.
