Software Developer, Sports Content

Who we are looking for A Software Developer in the Sports Content Team, who will be responsible for the affiliates system and various content management systems across the Business. The Sports Content Team is responsible for developing and enhancing our platforms for Partners, Hub pages, Offers, CTOOL, Help and Responsible Gambling, which supports the delivery of both customer facing and internal Business systems. We operate as a full stack team with the core skills being C#, Typescript and Golang. Additionally, the technology stack covers SQL, .Net, MVC, Web API, Nodejs, HTML5 and CSS 3. If you have an interest in learning Golang this would be a great opportunity for you. We offer a Golang bootcamp for you to take part in and then utilise this within the role. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn a new programming language. This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy. Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience Extensive commercial experience in .Net, web development, C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET and Web API or Golang. Experience with HTML5, CSS3, native JavaScript and jQuery. Commercial MS SQL Server experience, 2012 or later. Basic knowledge of IIS configuration and management. Proven track record of delivering high quality, scalable software solutions. Delivery focused with experience of using AGILE practices. Proactive and willing to contribute ideas. Experience working with distributed and multi-tiered applications. Passionate about software development and technology. Strong ability to problem solve. Main Responsibilities Building and maintaining systems that handle customer communication from email to live chat. Supporting and enhancing the existing code base. Maintaining clean coding practises. Identifying technical areas of improvement. Supporting product owners as required. Supporting the testing team during testing phases of projects. Contributing to solution proposals.
